With their elevated position, these architecturally-designed masterstrokes were designed to command spectacular panoramic ocean views from vast open living spaces and expansive entertaining decks.
42 Avocet Parade consists of two houses designed with a mirror layout, yet with two different design aesthetics. Both extend over three levels of light and airy spaces designed by award-winning architect, Tim Ditchfield. His brief was for luxury living and a capacity for numerous bedrooms, while not detracting from the clean beachside aesthetic, nor compromising the key elements of this design – spectacular views accessed by most bedrooms and a wealth of outdoor space, open-plan living and soaring high ceilings, coastal durability, and light and breezy spaces. With the marriage of beachside architectural experience and detailed interior design, the homes have achieved the perfect aesthetic. Both have been finished to a luxury standard, with attention to detail and contemporary premium finishes. One is clean, fresh and Scandinavian while the other plays with high end finishes that mix timber, concrete, white and a palette of greys to achieve a moodier, textural look and feel.
